Dungeon Meshi

A group of adventurers encounter a dragon that is stronger than them, and their mage teleports them out of harm’s way, but dies herself. Now they want to go back and resurrect their fallen friend. However, it takes too long to return to the city for supplies, so their leader suggests using the monsters as food – and cooking them. That way they can go further down the levels without having to go back for supplies.
